White Pines Logan UT
White Pines Trail is located about 45 min. outside of Logan in Logan Canyon. Witch is a beautiful drive in. The foliage colors were magnificent.
The trail is 9 miles in heading up and it is very technical. Beautiful sites because the trail starts at 7,000 feet and even on a clear mid Sunday we only saw three people on the trail. We made it about 7 miles in and we had to turn around because of the mud. This mud was impossible to ride through. We still had a fast fun ride back down the trail.
I will have to try this trail again next year when it has some time to dry up after the winter.
Juniper Canyon Logan UT
So fare in Utah the biking has been starting with an up hill climb into a canyon one way and than a fun fast exit down hill the other way. Juniper Canyon was a bit cold for this fall ride we started late at 5pm after work. The trail was somewhat technical allot of horse poop to get around but not allot of people.
Unfortunately Audry and I didn’t make it the full 9miles in because it was getting dark. We were still happy to be out and feel great.
I hope to go back and finish the trail.
Moutain Biking in Logan UT
Biking in the Green CanyonToday I took a little class on bike manic tune ups and it was past due for my little Gary Fisher. After getting the work Don J and I went exploring in the Green Canyon in Logan. It was only a 10 min. drive, and we were on the bikes.
Starts off with a long gradual clime on single track than on to a dirt road. The fall colors were so beautiful with a light brush of snow on the peaks. I was unprepared for the cold my hands were turning to ice.
I can’t wait to go out for more. Here are some pics of the trip.
