Core Power Yoga has three locations in the Denver metro area Grant (capitol hill), Cherry Hill and Broadway. All beautiful studios equipped with Heated yoga rooms, Boutique, clean locker room and ample showers. Residents of Colorado get a first time free week pass that you can use at any of their locations. The first class I took was a hot yoga at the Broadway location. The hot yoga class is the same as bikrem except music is playing and it is only an hour long instead of an hour and a half it is shortened by doing only one set for most of the poses instead of two.

My next class was at the Grant location and this time I took a Core Power Yoga level two class (C2). This class is a one hour power yoga class in a heated room the class was high energy. Filled with challenging flows and balancing postures. It was a full body workout.

My third visit at the Cherry Hill location I took a Hot Power Fusion class it was a combination of Power and Bikrem yoga. This class was balanced well with both flowing postures and held postures.

Core power yoga is a fun energizing studio and I find it convenient for my busy life because classes are offered all day long so that I can go whenever I want. You have to check it out. Besides what do you have to loose.

My next adventure takes me back to my home town of Manchester New Hampshire. Home for the holidays. I moved away from New Hampshire five years ago and back than there where no yoga studios in Manchester. I managed to find yoga at the gym.

Now Manchester has a wonderful yoga studio, Yoga Balance located on Main Street in the West Side. Yoga Balance offers many different styles of yoga with all different levels to choose from Kripalu to Vinyasa Flow. The studio has two rooms for yoga one is heated the other a normal temperature and there is plenty of space to relax and unwind complementary snacks water and hot tea. Some props are provided if needed mats, blocks, straps and mini bolsters.

Because off the clod weather here in New Hampshire I decided to take Vinyasa Flow class warm and toasty with Jen on Tuesday 6:30pm. Jen was very welcoming as a new student I was introduced to the class and right away I could see the closeness of this yoga community the students where very warm and inviting.

Jenn’s teachings where strong and focused with her personal creativity and a little bit of hummer. I had a great experience at Yoga Balance and I am planning my next class Kripalu with the owner Mari.

For More info go to Yoga Balance found undeThe Associates

There are lots of yoga studio in Denver and Samdhi was my first choice because of the wide verity of classes to choose from Anusara, Kundalini, Ashtanga, and Jivamukti. Because I’m one who likes to try new things, I dropped into Wednesday 4pm Jivamukti class. I’ve red the Jivamukti (by Sharen Ganon and David Life) book for my teacher training so I had a bit of an idea what I was getting myself into.

The studio was gorgeous! Big murals warm and cozy. A little boutique in the center of two studios. The drop in rate was a little high $17.00 for a hour and hour and 15 minuets. Everyone had there own mats but blocks, blankets, straps, and bolsters are provided.

The class was subbed by Casey beside her sat the Jivamukti book the same one that I red. The class focus was Ahimsa (non harming). She taught at a steady pace and read allot of strong hard to hear faxs from the book about being a vegetarian and it relating to non harming of all living beings. The Asana practice was focused on back bending. At the end of class my body felt open and my mind in deep thought.

I’m planning on relocating at the end of November and I have three places on my mind where should I go?

My requirements are a city with culture good food, music, coffee and most important yoga studios. There has to be all seasons I’m a outdoor enthuses. I enjoy Hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, and snow boarding.

I grew up in New Hampshire if your wondering were Portsmouth came from. There is a part of me that misses home the other part of doesn’t miss below zero temps.

I most recently lived in Seattle and I love it there what a beautiful city. It matches all of the requirements but I feel like I should try something new.

Denver is a place that I always thought about living. I’ve visited and it is just so gray and dry not allot of trees but on the other hand the locals clam 360 days of sun shine.

Please help me out I’m open for suggestions other places.

White Pines Trail is located about 45 min. outside of Logan in Logan Canyon. Witch is a beautiful drive in. The foliage colors were magnificent.

The trail is 9 miles in heading up and it is very technical. Beautiful sites because the trail starts at 7,000 feet and even on a clear mid Sunday we only saw three people on the trail. We made it about 7 miles in and we had to turn around because of the mud. This mud was impossible to ride through. We still had a fast fun ride back down the trail.

I will have to try this trail again next year when it has some time to dry up after the winter.

So fare in Utah the biking has been starting with an up hill climb into a canyon one way and than a fun fast exit down hill the other way. Juniper Canyon was a bit cold for this fall ride we started late at 5pm after work. The trail was somewhat technical allot of horse poop to get around but not allot of people.

Unfortunately Audry and I didn’t make it the full 9miles in because it was getting dark. We were still happy to be out and feel great.

I hope to go back and finish the trail.
